Lona @ Georgia Theatre 9/6/03

Lona is the other band in town headed up by Clay Leverett (Now It's Overhead). As much as The Chasers fit in an established genre, Lona have an individual sound (John Neff is in this band too, for those keeping score). The follow-up to To The Nth has been in the making for over five years, so I have to assume it'll eventually be worth the wait.

Nikki Sudden @ The EARL 7/7/05

Former Athens resident (and Swell Maps leader) Nikki Sudden assembled this pickup band of Athens all-stars for a handful of Athens/Atlanta appearances. Philip McArdle (Star Room Boys) on guitar, Craig McQuiston (The Tom Collins) bass, Jeff Griggs (Je Suis France) on drums and John Neff (most Athens bands) plays pedal steel. I believe this would have been Nikki's final show in Atlanta.
