Thanks a million, Sloan! I had already indexed your earlier Maserati posts in my comments to edo’s post (indicated below), but this one’s a real peach! Thanks to your recordings, I feel like I am almost living in the 40 Watt – the only pity is that, if I really was physically there, I would be able to buy you a ton of beers to say thanks. All I can do is point you to my mega-posts at edo’s, and hope there’s something you would like! Thanks again and cheers, Dave Sez.
And, just in passing, Sloan, I spotted a torrent of Maserati 2005-08-25, Athens which I am sure must be one of yours – not being a torrenter, any chance of posting an mp3 version of that here? Not wanting to be greedy after so many gifts, but early Maserati gigs seem to be few and far between … thanks anyway, cheers Dave Sez.
I taped ’em 2006-08-25, that’s probably it. I’ll dig it up and post soon.
Thanks – that would be fantastic! And seeing that you have posted a recent Faust gig (for which thanks!), and assuming you like them, you’ll find the rarest of all Faust recordings – FAUST V (The Unreleased Virgin Promotional Cassette, 1975) – in my comments to edo’s post here:
Hi Sloan, I see you’ve continued putting up great recent live stuff from the 40 Watt, but would you mind if I gave you a nudge for the Maserati 2006-08-25 that you mentioned above. Whenever you have the time … early Maserati gigs are rarer than hens’ teeth, would be much appreciated. Cheers and thanks for all your great work, Dave Sez.
