Deerhunter @ Variety Playhouse 10/31/08

Deerhunter @ Caledonia 8/27/05

This Deerhunter set consisted of only Bradford and Moses, and was greatly different than the other shows I’ve posted. No rock band, lots of ambient noises.

More from Atlanta’s Deerhunter, this time playing Team Clermont’s annual Summer Festival deal. I think the recording on this is probably better than the last one, but of course you’ll be the judge.

Deerhunter @ Whirlyball Atlanta 6/1/07

I would never have expected Deerhunter (Atlanta) to gain popularity the way they have in the last year. It’s not that I don’t think they’re a great band (I do), it just doesn’t seem very “accessible.” But good for them. And you. ‘Cause being obsessed with Cryptograms lately got me to finally get out and record these guys. This show was put on by Chunklet (who pressed up 7″ records with exclusive tracks by all the bands as tickets) at Whirlyball in Roswell, which you should check out if you ever want to let your inner child out (don’t worry, there’s a full bar there for your adult exterior).
